The shifting of the inner and outer hinge plates (see diagram) lengthens the physioglide® hinge at flexion and shortens it at extension. This effect reduces the "downward pressure" on the brace. ANTI-MIGRATION CONDYLE PAD • The top section of the half-moon shaped condyle pad is positioned above the medial condyle of the femur and helps prevent the M.4® from sliding. SOFT-GRIP PADDING • The M.4®'s soft-grip padding material offers excellent patient comfort and is "slide resistant" to help secure the correct fit of the brace.
