I’m a survivor! In 2010, after a car accident, I began my lifelong journey to control and maintain my lymphedema. I am the “Girl with the Sleeves”. It is a part of me and will be forever. It’s hot and uncomfortable and I do have a level of pain in my arm constantly. I need to elevate my arm to help relieve pressure and I plan my days around the 88 minutes I need to use my lymph drainage machine.
I’m super impressed with medical technology in my medi compression sleeves and gloves. I’m appreciative of brilliant nurses, doctors and therapists, and generous friends and family that have helped me along the way. And I am very thankful I’m here.
