My name is Jennifer, and I was diagnosed with stage 3/4 lipedema with secondary lymphedema also known as Lipo Lymphedema. I have grown to be ashamed of my legs due to their abnormal proportions however when learning about my diagnosis, I knew I could not remain hidden. I, like so many other women, have been fighting my body my whole life with no answers.
As soon as I was diagnosed in 2020, I researched several different types of compression and found what worked for my body. I wear two types of compression on my lowers to combat the lymphedema swelling.
medi® USA calf knee high open toe compression has been my main garment for lower legs, and I also wear a compression capri to give my full lower legs support. I have posted my journey living with Lipo Lymphedema for women looking for answers.
